wrapping up christmas

every year i try to come up with a creative way to wrap gift cards (besides just putting them in an envelope!)  this season, i folded tissue paper around the gift card and a package of gum and then stitched two granny squares together to enclose it.  i tried to use christmas-y colors to make them look like they belonged under a tree.  here are a few of my "wrapped" gifts.

the recipients will have to use a scissors to get inside but that's part of the fun.  :-)

  4. What a great idea! I don't crochet but that inspires me to knit some little "envelopes" for future gift card and small item gifts. Such a great idea. = )
